REMINDER TO PARTICIPATING ARTISTS: THE ARTBOOK PIECE IS DUE TOMORROW, SUNDAY APRIL 26TH. IF YOU FEEL THAT YOU NEED AN EXTENSION, I AM GIVING OUT 1-2 WEEK EXTENSIONS TO THOSE WHO NEED IT.
THEME: Places to go, People to see
We've all been to place that we were instantly enchanted by, or hope to go somewhere today. And along the way, we've met people who have both inspired and helped us. Show us in your piece what place inspires you, or what place do you wish to go somewhere. The only requirement? It has to be an actual place on Earth. You can even include your own fantastical interpretation of the place.
Also, because this is a charity artbook for North Texas Food Bank, please include the grain itself in the logo in your piece somewhere. I don't mean the logo, I just mean the grain. The link to the logo is just there for reference in case you need it.
Try and get creative. It can be as small or as large as you want it, just don't make it the main focus of your piece. Maybe it's a design on someone's shirt, maybe it's a hair pin, maybe it's actual grain growing out of the ground. Who knows? If you have any questions about this part, feel free to note the group or me personally. Yiamme

FAQ:
Does the art have to be a digital painting?
While we do prefer digital art, we are willing to make an exception with traditional art. If you want to submit traditional art, make sure it is a high-quality scan and note us for approval first.
Do you accept fanart?
No. We want your art to be 100% yours!
Do I have to draw a new image for this art book?
Yes. However, if there is an emergency or some other circumstance, note the group.
Is there a way I can contribute if I'm not an invited artist?
Yep! After the invited artists have confirmed their participation, we will open up join requests to everyone else. If your gallery is approved and up to the quality standard that we're looking for, then we'll send you a join request.
I'm not sure if my illustration fits with the theme completely, can I send you a sketch to see if it fits with the theme of the artbook?
Of course! If you ever need us to check your WIP or are unsure about the direction you're headed in, feel free to send a note to this group.
If you have any more questions, feel free to leave a question below or note the group! We'll be happy to respond.

Hi everyone! Sorry we have been absent most of summer and have not really been keeping you guys up to date on what has been happening. And sorry for missing so many deadlines about getting the book printed. All of us underestimated how busy our summers would be and how overwhelmed we would be when the school year started, but fear not, we will get this artbook printed and mailed to everyone who preordered!
I'll give you guys a snapshot of what we're working on right now and our plans for the future.
Right now, we are working on assembling the book into a format that can be printed so we can order initial pre-order amount and ship those out.

Ok so for the grain thing, can I just incorporate it into my piece by fitting in wheat somewhere?
